WARRIOR POWERHOUSE WRESTLING CLUB
WAUKEE, IOWA

Practice Philosophy
The Warrior Powerhouse Wrestling Club uses the Al Garison Wrestling System for wrestler development. It focuses on introducing a fundamental skill, mastery through focused repetition, and then building upon that skill.
Practices are intended to make wrestler's better. To do this, the coaches use a mixture of focused drills, live wrestling, and conditioning. This allows the team to constantly be moving in order to maintain the attention of newer wrestlers and to maximize the practice productivity.
Practice should also be fun. Coach Meeks does this by incorporating games and competitions into the regular rhythms of practice to keep the wrestlers engaged.

BEGINNER
Beginner Practice is designed for wrestlers in their first or second year of wrestling. The focus is on fundamentals that will grow with the wrestler as they continue to develop.
INTERMEDIATE
Intermediate practice is designed for wrestlers with greater than two years of experience. The intermediate group builds off of those fundamentals learned as a beginner and helps to round out a wrestler's skill set.
